A Happy Child 2025 – Puerto Juanita
Project description
On December 29, 2025, the A Happy Child 2025 project reached Puerto Juanita, a community in conditions of extreme poverty. This was the third and final event of the 2025 Christmas series.
Between 50 and 100 people, including children and adults, participated in an afternoon full of joy. Ice cream, pizza, and snacks were served, and Christmas gifts were distributed. Recreational activities kept the little ones entertained throughout the event.
Given the particular economic situation of this community, the foundation decided to deliver purchase certificates with higher amounts to generate a more significant impact. Additionally, direct cash assistance was provided in special cases where families had urgent needs that could not be covered with purchase certificates.
Purchase Certificate Winners (RD$ 11,700 total)

- ✓Manuela Isabela García — Winner of a Purchase Certificate worth RD$ 2,000 (~$33 USD). Redeemed at Andres Morel, Los Derramaderos.
