A Happy Child 2025 – Los Derramaderos

On December 27, 2025, the community of Los Derramaderos was filled with joy at the first event of the A Happy Child 2025 project. Four years after our first Christmas celebration in Christmas 2021 —a small event due to budget constraints—, we returned with a much larger event.

Around 200 people including children and accompanying adults from three communities (Los Derramaderos, Arroyo Caña, and Agua de Luis) gathered for an unforgettable afternoon.

Children enjoyed ice cream, pizza, snacks, gifts, and recreational activities. The special visit from Santa Claus filled the little ones with excitement, turning the afternoon into a true Christmas celebration. Local volunteers were a fundamental part of the event, helping with every detail to make everything come together perfectly.

As part of the foundation's commitment to transparency and direct impact, 3 purchase certificates were awarded to selected families, redeemable at local businesses in the area. Each certificate was digitally verified through a QR code system that vendors scanned to confirm the beneficiary's identity.
